Indiana Jones Expedition -2 Days

Day 1 - Natal Serra Branca / Soledade - Depart Natal for the Cabugi Peak, the onlij volcano in Brazil! This solitary volcano has maintained its original shape for 28 million years. Drive to Serra Branca and walk through tlìe granite hills where natural pools have been carved in the rocks by rainwater. These pools contain fossils of the fauna that lived in the northeast during the Ice Age, such as the giant Brazilian sloth, armadillos, mastodons and saber-toothed tigers. View paintings and engravings (rock art) made thousands of years ago. Continue to Mossoró and the Hotel Tlzermas.

Day 2 - Mossoro Soledade / Natal - Depart for Lajedo de Soledade, where hundreds of small limestone "canyons" were formed by overhanging rocks. The caves are decorated with unique prehistoric paintings and engravings, some estimated to he between 3,000 and 10,000 years old! The fossils of animals from the Ice Age have also been found here. After lunch at the edge of a beautihil lake with banks covered with carnaiibas (palm trees), drive back to Natal.

 

   

 

In The Flintstones Era -5 Days

Day 1 - Arrive Natal - After arrival, you will be met and taken to the stylish beachfront Mananj Praia Hotel. The balance of the day is free to enjoy the beauty of Ponta Negra Beach. This evening, there will he a talk on the archeology paleontology, geology and ecology of the areas you will visit. Enjoy a dinner of tasty regional cuisine.

Day 2 - Natal Serido / "Dinosaur Alley" - Depart for Acari, a town where its museum exhibits objects and the way of living of the "Sertanejo" people that inhabit this remote region. After lunch, proceed to the famous "Dinosaurs' Valley". Dinosaurs of various species and sizes lived in this region some 120 million years ago, on the banks of a shallow lake. Their footprints and tracks can be seen everywhere, preserved in the mud that used to be the bottom and banks of the lake. Also visit one of the longest (180 feet) dinosaur tracks in the world. Lodging and dinner will be at a coz hotel, famous for its thermal and therapeutic waters.

Day 3 - Sousa Soledade / Mossoro - Early this morning, depart for Lajedo dc Soledade. En route pass hundreds of limestone "canyons" formed by the overhanging rocks. The caves are decorated with prehistoric paintings and engravings, estimated to be between 3,000 and 10,000 years old. The fossils of animals from the Ice Age have also been found here. After lunch, proceed to Mossoró, where the resort hotel’s ten swimming pools contain relaxing thermal waters.

Day 4 - Mossoro / Serra Branca Natal - Depart for Serra Branca and walk through the granite hills where many natural pools have been carved in the rocks by rainwater. These pools contain fossils of the fauna that flourished in the northeast during the Ice Age, such as the giant sloth, armadillos, mastodons and saber-toothed tigers. View the pamtings and engravings macic thousands of years ago. Continue to Cabugi Peak, the only volcano in Brazil that has maintained its original shape for 28 million years. Arrive in Natal and the Manor,1 Praki Hotel in time for dinner.

Day 5 - Depart Natal - Transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight.

 

Fernando De Noronha Island A Diving And Surfing Paradise -3 Days


Surfer’s Paradise

Day 1 - Natal - At the Natal Airport, take the morning flight to Fernando de Noronha Island. Accommodations are at a "Pousada" (inn). The rest of the day is free to explore the island’s many secrets. Take an optional buggy tour, locally known as "lIha Tour", to the main attractions of the island.

Day 2 - Fernando de Noronha - Leave the pousada for a boat tour to the famous BaIa dos Golfinhos, where many dolphins join for fun and present a beautiful natural show. On the return, stop at Sancho Bay for snorkeling on transparent waters with thousands of colored tropical fishes. In the afternoon, take a walking tour through Reméciios Village, visiting historical buildings.

Day 3 - Return To Natal - Transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Natal.
