Puno (Lake Titicaca)
Puno, Peru on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world (at 12,600 ft.) is the city connecting Cuzco and Huatajata/La Paz, Bolivia. The Andean train from Cuzco to Puno passes through rugged mountain terrain and is a wonderful way to discover the true spirit of the Andes. Hydrofoil or catamaran then connects Puno and Huatajata across Lake Titicaca. Huatajata and La Paz are connected by road.

From Cuzco To Puno For Connection By Hydrofoil To Huatajata / La Paz Departs Mon, Wed, Fri, & Sat.
Day 1 - Cuzco / Puno - Early morning train departure from Cuzco for a 10-hour plus trip through picturesque villages of the high Andes to the Peruvian border town of Puno (also available by plane), near Lake Titicaca's shore. Transfer to your hotel in Puno for overnight.
